I was born and raised in the Black Country town of Tipton and am a lifelong cinephile.

My love of film led me to study Film Theory at Wolverhampton University before moving into my first career teaching Film and Media at The RSA Academy. Whilst I always made short films, sketches and music videos, at age 30 I pivoted and began a career in TV/Film. I started out as a Camera Trainee and eventually moved to my current position of freelance Camera Operator, where I now work in scripted drama for the BBC.

I directed and shot music videos for Scott Matthews, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Nature Centre and The Natvral, as well as shooting short films for directors Kate Horler and Parmjit Gill. I have also created album artwork for Katherine Priddy’s album The Pendulum Swing and Birmingham outfit PIP's debut EP. In 2026, alongside having a busy year of work in the diary with shorts, music videos and scripted drama, I have also completed a short film script and am in the process of applying to the BFI Short Film Fund alongside producer Ashley Price.

Additionally, I have invested in a GPI Pro Steadicam Rig and Titan Arm and will spend the year practicing with availability from 2027.

I live in Moseley, Birmingham with my wonderful partner, beautiful son and three rambunctious cats.
